Adoption is a life long process. While each adoptive family has their own journey, each one will have to deal with the issues created by being an adoptive family. While some families need formal counseling support, many families are assisted through this process by being involved in an adoption support group.
Kim and Tom Mathews and Jan and Chris Baughman are two families that have answered the call to assist House of Samuel, Inc. to conduct a quarterly support group meeting. The meetings are informal in nature and generally involve a pot-luck meal and an acitivity for the children. |
